Our Mission

FADOA is dedicated to working towards the full integration of African AIDS orphans into their communities so as to enable them to live as normal a life as they can, and eventually become productive members of their society.

The Need

80% of the world's AIDS orphans live in Africa, and 95% of these affected children do not receive any kind of support. Most importantly, we need your assistance to moderate the devastating effects of HIV/AIDS in Africa.

Who We Are

FADOA is seeking to fill the gap in assistance delivery by directly addressing the needs of the abandoned AIDS orphans in the remote villages of Africa. We, the founders of FADOA, are retired UN workers and are from these villages. We have relatives whose children were abandoned in the villages, and we have taken care of many of them.

Our Impact Since 2010

  • Kenya: Provided school uniforms, materials, and shoes to 50 orphans, enabling them to attend school
  • Cameroon: Donated uniforms to over 40 primary and secondary school AIDS orphans in partnership with Charity Mothers Association in Wum

Our Commitment

"We will never give up HOPE as long as there is one AIDS orphan in Africa"
- Dr. Hannah N. Tiagha, Founding Member and Secretary General
